Centralized Gathering
We at Northland Village Church reconcile through worship. We recognize the importance of gathering on a weekly basis for numerous reasons. Firstly, we connect with the larger story of God’s people. God’s people have been meeting in a centralized gathering for thousands of years with one another and we love continuing this tradition at NVC. We also simply love being with one another.
To have an intentional space on a weekly basis to keep in touch with our community is important to us. Finally, and most importantly, we find it to be of utmost importance to have intentional time set to worship our God that sustains and encourages the life of our community. The center of NVC’s worship is God’s story, the Bible. Other weekly elements that point us toward our God is prayer, art, and feasting at the communion table.
We meet on Sunday nights at 5PM in the auditorium of Glenfeliz Elementary School in Atwater Village. (Childcare provided for kids through 5th grade in our UpStreet Ministry Center.)
