What a gift to be a part of Atwater Village and the greater area of NE Los Angeles. After helping to set up the Centennial Celebration, Northland Village Church ran a booth that gave out cups of soil with seeds placed inside. We hope that this expression is one of excitement to grow with the community that surrounds us. 
NVC is honored to be helping the Village of Atwater by participating in the setup of the 100 year celebration of our home in LA. On top of sending in volunteers to help setup, NVC is also hosting a booth where people can plant their own seed in soil and a cup provided by the church. What a great opportunity to serve the neighborhood in which we are so thankful to be a part. Don’t miss the event… June 13, from 11am to 6pm on the 3100 block of Glendale blvd. in Atwater. 
Former founder of Invisible Children, Bobby Bailey, joined NVC on Friday night to show his new documentary called When the Night Comes. The film spurred conversations for what it means to be a people a part of the story of ridding Malaria, the most deadly disease in the history of humanity, from Africa, by 2015.
