Upstreet Ministry is NVC’s beginning toward having a healthy and vibrant space for children and families at Northland Village. Just like the rest of our community, Jennifer Davis, director of the ministry, desires to consistently be reaching out to serve NE Los Angeles through the developing ministry. This Friday you will see Jen, and some of the kids of Upstreet at the Atwater Film Night, serving free Lemonade and loving the people of Atwater, Silver Lake and Eagle Rock. Be sure to drop by to say hi!
Being a new church plant, NVC has found it important to spend significant time developing relationships in the community. A portion of this time has been spent at Griffith Park on the corner of Riverside and Los Feliz, welcoming the community into our picnics. The BBQ chicken is good, and is grilled fresh to give to all. What might it look like to make this event a monthly activity of the church family?
