Let’s Connect Village Groups Centralized Gathering The Needs of the Community School Partnership
Let’s Connect

We at Northland Village Church love connecting. With this in mind, we seek to constantly be connecting people with God, the church, and NE Los Angeles.

We are also interested in connecting people to their passions and people’s passions with the larger needs of the world. We would be honored if you would allow us to connect with you in order that we might connect you with the needs of our world.

Village Groups

We at Northland Village Church have been learning that community life with one another needs to happen more than meeting at a centralized gathering once a week. Thus we are continually in the process of developing decentralized groups that meet all around Los Angeles at different times and at different places throughout the week.

Centralized Gathering

We at Northland Village Church reconcile through worship. We recognize the importance of gathering on a weekly basis for numerous reasons. Firstly, we connect with the larger story of God’s people. God’s people have been meeting in a centralized gathering for thousands of years with one another and we love continuing this tradition at NVC. We also simply love being with one another.

The Needs of the Community We at Northland Village Church reconcile by striving to be generous in the way that we live. With this in mind, we love meeting the practical needs of all people.
If you have any needs, physical, spiritual, emotional, psychological, we would be honored if you would allow us to come alongside you in meeting those needs. Simply email your need to needs@northlandvillagechurch.com.

School Partnership We at Northland Village Church reconcile through a partnership with Glenfeliz Elementary School in Atwater Village. This growing partnership has given us the opportunity to volunteer and serve both the students and families of this local school.

Kickball With Mama

NVC continues to be blessed and supported by our parent church, Glendale Presbyterian Church. On August 10 at 5:30pm we will begin our annual kickball game with GPC with a picnic, and then at 7pm we will continue into the game vs. mama. The game will take place at Verdugo Park in Glendale. Please bring your own picnic and your game face as we look to buld on last year’s win!

NVC Brewfest 2011: The Reconciler

As seen below, NVC will be bottling their first batch of beer, connecting with the historic tradition of churches being the places thatmake the best brew. Our beer, “The Reconciler”, will be released on July 18 at 55 Degree wine in Atwater Village at 7pm. A free glass of our beer will be given to all who attend! That’s right, a free glass of our craftsmen double Belgium, laced with a hint of IPA. Also, non-alcoholic root beer will also be given away at the event for those who don’t drink alcohol. See you on July 18!!!

NVC Bottles Its First Batch

For centuries, monasteries served as bastions of civility, preserving learning and extending charity to those around them. In this context a rich tradition of beer making developed, one that provided for the poor and evidenced a belief in a God who desires to see life and creativity flourish. Sadly, this sacred craft has all but disappeared from the Church today. For this reason Northland Village Church has chosen to embrace this art, because we also are a people who care about community, hospitality, and creativity. This beer is the fruit of our labor. We hope enjoying it will spark good conversation and deep reflection on the beauty of this life.

NVC Hosts First Annual Art Walk

After writing for a grant, NVC, along with dozens of partners, successfully hosted the First Annual Atwater Art Walk. The space created by the church allowed over 500 different people, from different backgrounds, to share their stories with one another through their art. For more on the event, please visit www.atwaterartwalk.com.
