Dawn Beck: The Coffee Table
Dawn moved from Michigan with her husband, Justin to California in 2009 and currently lives in Pasadena. Dawn is a mother of two beautiful children and works full-time as a Hospice Medical Social Worker with Vitas Healthcare. Dawn is passionate about building healthy relationships, providing hospitality, and meeting people where they are at. Dawn also enjoys working behind the scenes with the NVC community to promote generosity, friendship, and create a space where all people can feel welcomed.
Theresa Barnts: The Dinner Table
Josh Ramsey: The Coffee Table
After graduating from Fuller Seminary in 2010 with his Masters in Divinity, Josh decided to go back for his masters in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2013. During his free time Josh likes to make exceptional coffee, help people being new companies, and lift weights to keep him able to beat Elder Dave Fischer in a wrestling match.
Scott Unger: The Coffee Table
Scott Unger serves as an Elder and is a member of the Finance Committee at Northland Village Church.
Jamie Olsen: The Dinner Table
Wife. Daughter. Sister. Friend. Pediatric Occupational Therapist. Runner. Reader. Volunteer. Chicago sports fan. Traveler. These are some of the roles I embody when not serving as an Elder or participating in community at NVC. I made my way from McHenry, Illinois to Los Angeles after completing a doctorate in occupational therapy at Washington University in St. Louis in 2011. Raised in the United Methodist Church and active in campus ministry at my undergraduate Bradley University, NVC offered a unique perspective and community where I could continue my narrative as a follower of Christ.
Rodrigo de la Sotta: The Banquet Table
Having received his M.A. from the Institute for Spiritual Formation at Talbot Seminary, and his B.A. in Psychology from Chico State, Rodrigo's passion is exploring how theological reflection and psychological development can have a meaningful conversation…and how we can discover sacred space in all things. He considers Chico his hometown, though his roots will always be found in his native land of Chile. He's an unashamed vinyl junkie, mediocre bourbon aficionado, and borderline hoarder of thrift store treasures.
Cat Moore: Clerk
By day, Cat Moore is a writer and artist who fosters organic, free-range community in North East LA with a movement called "the Coop". But by night she's part of a superhero squad with her son, Noah. Cat's passionate about zero to one relationship building on the streets and connecting people to each other and to their vocations. She also cares way too much about British poetry, gourmet cobbler, cute animal youtube videos, and tree houses.

Organizing Pastor: Nick Warnes - email@example.com
Nick Warnes is the organizing pastor of Northland Village Church and has a passion for seeing new churches plant and multiply. Nick has been married to Whitney for nine years and they love to check out the latest restaurants in NE Los Angeles together. Nick spends much of his time having conversations over coffee, reading about reconciliation and baseball, and meditating while he bikes through Griffith Park and the LA River Trail on his road bike. If you are interested in connecting with Nick, email him and he will gladly treat you to coffee, lunch or a game of chess. Nick received his Masters of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary, with an emphasis in worship, theology and the arts and just finished his new book Starting Missional Churches: Life with God in the Neighborhood.
Director of Development: Samantha Curley - firstname.lastname@example.org
Samantha Curley has been a part of NVC for over three years. She is passionate about nurturing and developing transformative experiences for people to encounter themselves, their neighbors, and God. A Chicago native (Lou Malnati's deep dish anyone?) and Northwestern football fanatic (go ‘Cats!), she worked for Chicagoland Young Life before moving to Los Angeles for a Master's of Theology and the Arts from Fuller Seminary. Aside from her work with people and ideas at NVC, Samantha also spends time at a few other nonprofits and a local creative agency. Samantha is also the creator and Executive Director of Level Ground. She loves to read, write, curate, organize, and schedule. She only sometimes wears fake glasses, can beat you in a game of PIG or HORSE, and also loves beer snifters and coffee mugs.
Worship Director: Beau Wammack - email@example.com
Beau has been involved in church music of one form or another for nearly 2 decades, and was part of NVC's original launch team. A skilled musician and a dedicated worship leader, Beau's continuous endeavor is to balance excellence and authenticity alongside a revolving team of volunteers. When he's not playing music at NVC he enjoys sampling craft beer, reading antiquated novels, and playing with his daughter.
